On Saturday at the Hazaar Stadium, the team Al-Jazira defeated Shabab Al-Ahli with a score of 2:1 and became the holders of the Al-Islami Cup, commonly known as the League Cup, for the second time in their history.

The game was full of dramatic moments. Al-Jazira opened the scoring thanks to a stunning goal from match star Abdulla Ramadan in the 18th minute. However, Iranian player Sardar Azmoun equalized the score in the 50th minute. But Congolese player Nicsonn Kibong regained the lead for Al-Jazira in the 55th minute.

Al-Jazira's coach Hussein Ammouty from Morocco managed to implement the strategy in the first half, conceding the initiative to Shabab Al-Ahli and effectively blocking the chances towards goalkeeper Ali Khaseifa.

At the beginning of the game, defender Rafael Tagliar didn't manage to capitalize on a good moment, after his strike went past goalkeeper Hanan Khamza, but he left the ball towards the side of the net. Ramadan's goal from midfield was notably impactful, forcing the goalkeeper to simply follow the flying ball.

Shabab Al-Ahli tried again to return to the game, and only in the 27th minute was it possible to score a goal, but Biru Kartabi was successful. Five minutes later, the national team of Al-Jazira with two strikes from Yuri Seizar successfully handled.

Then followed an unsuccessful attempt by Maurisius to protect the goal area. Shabab Al-Ahli's defense faced a second period with a new attack, but goalkeeper Khaseifa reflected Azmoun's strike and didn't allow the super striker to advance further.

After three minutes, Azmoun scored a goal with a header after his first strike hit the crossbar and returned to him, and he finished with a strike into the empty net. Kibong regained the lead for Al-Jazira again, scoring after the ball popped up to him in the penalty area and he turned it into the net with a complicated execution.

Shabab Al-Ahli were unsuccessful in counterattacks, and the lower-higher column obstructed Azmoun's strike after Matius' pass, missing the chance to equalize the score. In the last 10 minutes of the game, Shabab Al-Ahli attempted attacks, but goalkeeper Ali Khaseifa parried Saeed Azzatall's strike and kept the result until the end of the match.
